Straightforward look at Suzanne Valadon, who was the model and lover of several famous Impressionist painters, and herself painted with enormous talent, though she was eclipsed by her own son, Maurice Utrillo. Unfairly eclipsed, in my opinion, because Maurice is, at best, a drab street fair painter, while Suzanne's works are full of life, and a melancholy anger.
