Originally from the Collection of Courtney Crawford, Mortensen's first wife, with her bookplate and a snapshot of her laid in. A search on the World Book Catalogue indicates only one other copy, at the University of Arizona, with 14 photographs.

A rare copy of the photographer's first book. This hand-bound title was produced by Mortensen while he was designing sets for a mid-1920's production of the Rubaiyat entitled A Lovers Oath. Included are two unusual photomontages in which multiple cut-outs of female nudes are artfully arranged on the page, Drtikol-style.
